     I arrived safely and my trip was easy but, of course, long---18 hours!
     My good friend met me at the San Diego airport at 9:00 at night.

1.Prepare fresh pumpkin by cutting up pumpkin into 2" pieces and boil until very soft. Drain water from pumpkin and let pumpkin cool. Slice outside rind from pumpkin meat and throw away rind. Mash pumpkin until inside pulp is smooth. If necessary, blend in blended. Freeze in bags of 3 cups for 1 pie. DOUBLE the receipe for 2 pies
2/3 cup golden brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spices (nutmeg/ginger)
3 cups fresh pumpkin (or 11/2 cups canned pumpkin from store, if possible to buy)
2 tablespoons mild-flavored light color molasses (if you use DARK brown sugar instead of golden brown sugar, leave out molasses)
4 eggs
1 cup 40% heavy cream
19 inch pie crust (bake 1st in oven at 162 degrees celsius)

Place baking sheet in oven and preheat to 232 degrees celcius (if no baking sheet don't worry, just put pie on oven shelf)
whisk (stir stongly) together first 7 ingredients in a bowl 
Add eggs, cream and molasses and mix together with other ingredients
Pour all ingredients into crust.
Place pie on preheated baking sheet in oven. Bake 10 minutes at 232 degrees celcius.
Reduce heat to 162 degrees celcius until sides puff and Center of pie is set (not liquid): this should take 40 minutes if using baking sheet or-60 minutes if not on baking sheet.
Take from oven and cool before putting in refrigerator (cover pie)
Take from refrig and serve at room temperature.
Can put whipping cream on top (can whipping cream or fresh whipping cream).
